It'll Do Deli - Longview
One of my favorite sandwich shops is It'll Do Deli. They have a wide variety of cold sandwiches,, grilled panini, salads,, wraps and other offerings.. They've won many awards and are known as Where the Locals Go.
Hushpuppies - Henderson
We were in Henderson around lunch, so we started looking for a unique place to eat. We happened to see Hush Puppies and decided to give it a try. We ordered crawfish queso for an appetizer and it came with seasoned chips. For our meal, I had sausage jambalaya with mustard greens and fried squash.
Clear Springs - Tyler
We were looking for a place to eat in Tyler that was different than the normal fare. We did a little research and came across the Clear Springs restaurant. Located on Broadway Avenue, it was easily seen from the road and has plenty of parking. They advertise world famous onion rings, so we decided on a small order (do not order a large as the small is plenty big for 3 people).
Riverport BBQ - Jefferson
Having been unable to get out to different places to eat, we decided to go to Jefferson. Jefferson was packed with people shopping and eating. We discussed all the options and decided to try River Port BBQ. We ordered 2 Chopped Beef sandwiches, Hot Water Cornbread and French Fries.
Logan's Place - Mineola
It was such a beautiful day that we decided to drive to Mineola with the intent of finding a unique place to eat and end up at Bryan's Cheesecakes. When we arrived at Mineola, we decided to drive down by the train tracks and park till we found a place to eat. As luck would have it, we were parked close to Logan's Place..
